Frequently Ask Questions (FAQ)
How is TMora different from other agencies?
TMora is one of the few Sri Lankan consultancies with physical branch offices in both New Zealand and Australia. This means you get on-ground support from the day you land. Our 98% visa approval rate, 150+ partner institutions, and end-to-end service from first consultation to settlement set us apart.
How long does the process take?
Typically 3-6 months from your first consultation to departure, depending on the intake date and visa processing times. We recommend starting at least 6–8 months before your intended intake for best results.
What qualifications do I need?
Requirements vary by programme. Generally, O/L and A/L results are needed for undergraduate entry, or a bachelor’s degree for postgraduate study. Some programmes require work experience or English test scores. Our counsellors will assess your eligibility during your consultation.
Can I work while studying?
Yes. New Zealand allows up to 20 hours per week during term and full-time during holidays. Australia allows up to 48 hours per fortnight during term and unlimited hours during breaks. Our team helps you understand and plan for work opportunities.
Can my family come with me?
Most student visas allow dependent family members. Your spouse may also be eligible to work in your destination country. TMora supports dependent visa applications as part of our services.
What if I’m not sure which country is right for me?
That’s exactly what we’re here for. During your consultation, our counsellors compare both destinations based on your goals, budget, career plans, and lifestyle preferences to help you make the right choice.
